Matt leads the Diversified Business Group at Unified, created to find and grow strategic partnerships with payor organizations and other community-based healthcare providers seeking to improve quality and health outcomes for patients. This includes investing in innovative ways that help physicians serve patients at all levels. This portfolio includes Lucina Analytics, an advanced analytics and care management company, acquired by Unified in 2019, that strives to reduce pre-term births and NICU utilization.

Previously, Matt was Chief Operating Officer for Unified and Senior Vice President of Operations. Prior to joining Unified, Matt was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, advising clients across the healthcare value chain on strategy, finance and operations. He has led multiple entrepreneurial ventures designing and developing medical devices and conducting research at both the National Institutes of Health and The Mayo Clinic.

Matt holds an MD from Northwestern University and trained as resident physician at Loyola University Medical Centers. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College in Mathematics and Biology.
