He joined Unified from Ares Management, where he served as an Operating Partner supporting the firm’s healthcare portfolio companies and leading diligence on new investment opportunities across various healthcare verticals. Before Ares, he was Chief Strategy Officer of Amedisys, with responsibility for Corporate Strategy, M&A and integration, Investments, Treasury, FP&A, Revenue Cycle Management, and Investor Relations. He also led the company’s High Acuity Care line of business. Earlier in his career, he held a range of roles on Humana’s Corporate Strategy and Development team, ultimately leading Humana Ventures and Humana’s in-home care acquisition function.

Nick has served on the boards of ConnectRN, Tango Health, and Mosai, and is a graduate of the Nashville Health Care Council Fellows program. He holds a B.S. in Business from Indiana University and an M.B.A. from the University of Louisville. He lives in Louisville KY., with his wife Lauren and his son Graham.
