Unified has stayed ahead of the ever-changing healthcare curve, the result of which has been explosive growth and transformation in a short period of time. Our strategy and flexibility in adapting to change are the focal points of how our story has evolved.

Yesterday

Unified Women’s Healthcare was founded in 2009 by two practicing ObGyns as a single-specialty management services organization to support ObGyn practices. Our objective was to provide the necessary non-clinical business support for physicians to stay in private practice with clinical autonomy. While we were highly successful in our model, we quickly learned that a sustainable strategy was needed for private practices to thrive and deliver better care experiences for women.

Today

We recognize that transforming women’s healthcare through Value-Based initiatives restores the relationship between the patient and provider; achieves better care experiences, and reduces stressors commonly associated with avoidable physician burnout and operational distress. Accordingly, we restructured our business model to support physicians and their operational teams toward a more seamless transition to Value-Based care.

In tandem with this evolution, Unified has expanded to address other areas of unmet need in women’s health. Our current priorities include serving women impacted by untreated menopause symptoms, helping anyone who wants to build a family and addressing inequities in pre-natal care, in addition to advancing our affiliated ObGyn practices.

Today…

We have a presence in 26 states and offer menopause relief nationwide

Our affiliated providers care for more than 3 million women annually

We are affiliated with 2,700+ women’s healthcare providers across the U.S. and growing

We have helped national health plans lower pre-term birth rates and NICU utilization by 10%

We have supported professionals who provided fertility treatments resulting in more than 100,000 babies being born

Tomorrow

Driven by our belief that all women should receive the highest quality healthcare experience in the world, we continue to invest in research to understand how women want that care delivered to them in the future. We support the largest network of women’s care specialists in the nation to collaboratively implement the tools, technology and access to allow healthcare transformation to occur.

We look forward to expanding our reach and creating meaningful alignments with women’s healthcare providers across the nation.
