Betsy McCubrey serves as Chief Legal and Compliance Officer for Unified Women's Healthcare, where she leads the organization's legal, compliance, privacy, and governance functions, helping advance the company's mission while supporting responsible growth and innovation. 

Betsy is an accomplished legal executive with more than 25 years of experience advising healthcare organizations on complex legal, regulatory, and business matters. Prior to joining Unified, she served as General Counsel at DaVita Inc., a Fortune 500 healthcare company, where she led a team of more than 300 professionals across legal, privacy, compliance, and human resources. During her tenure, she also co-founded a women's leadership initiative focused on mentorship, professional development, and advancing future leaders. 

Earlier in her career, Betsy was a partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, where she advised healthcare organizations on a broad range of legal and regulatory issues. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for building collaborative partnerships, navigating complex challenges, and developing high-performing teams. 

Betsy earned her bachelor's degree from Wake Forest University, her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law, and a Master of Public Health in Health Policy & Administration from the University of North Carolina.
