Brian is Chief Legal and Compliance Officer for Unified Women’s Healthcare, its subsidiaries and all lines of businesses. He is responsible for oversight of all Legal matters as well as the Compliance, Audit, Risk Management and Corporate Insurance functions. Brian holds the distinction of a Florida board certified specialist in healthcare law.

Previously, Brian served as Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Unified, advising the Executive Team, business leaders and Medical Directors on an array of healthcare regulatory matters across markets.

Before joining Unified, Brian was a Partner at the law firm of Shutts & Bowen, LLP, where he was involved in both the Corporate and Healthcare Practice Groups. Earlier in his legal career, Brian was a Healthcare Associate Attorney at several prominent Florida law firms.

His corporate experience includes positions at Merck and Company, Wyeth-Ayerst Laboratories and Innovex, Inc./Novartis Pharmaceuticals.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master’s in Public Health from the University of South Florida and a Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law.
