Dr. Elizabeth K. Cherot, M.D., M.B.A., is the Chief Medical Officer of Unified Women’s Healthcare and the President of Lucina.

She is a distinguished obstetrician-gynecologist with over two decades of experience in maternal and infant health. She earned her medical degree from the University of Rochester and completed an Executive MBA at Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School.

In January 2023, Dr. Cherot joined March of Dimes as Senior Vice President and Chief Medical and Health Officer, and by July 2023, she became the organization’s first physician President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to her tenure at March of Dimes, she served as Chief Medical Officer for Axia Women’s Health, overseeing extensive operations across multiple states.

Dr. Cherot is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and has been instrumental in advancing initiatives aimed at improving health outcomes for mothers and babies. In July 2024, she became the President of Lucina, a maternal analytics company. In March of 2025, she expanded her role and became the enterprise Chief Medical Officer at Unified Women’s Health. She resides in New Jersey with her husband and two children.
