September 26, 2023 — More than 160+ Unified volunteers, including corporate team members, affiliate business line and care center employees, and affiliated providers, enthusiastically supported hundreds of communities across the U.S. this summer through this year’s UnifiedCares Summer of Service.
The Summer of Service was launched in 2022 to help its community members make a positive impact on their local communities through volunteer service. It also provides an opportunity for teams to collaborate on activities that inspire them and showcase their passions outside of work. This year’s Summer of Service took place between July 1-September 30.
UnifiedCares is the official philanthropic platform through which the company seeks to support the health and well-being of all those in the Unified Community, while enabling their support of their local communities through charitable organizations.
For the Summer of Service initiative, Unified grants MSO Team Members up to four paid work hours during the summer to come together as a team and volunteer in their local communities. The Unified community used this time to host drives for non-perishable food items, diapers, hygiene items and school supplies and distribute items collected; create greeting cards or inspirational letters; or participate in fundraising races to support non-profit organizations.
Through the combined efforts of 14 Unified departments, teams and affiliated, thousands of individuals received supplies to help improve their emotional well-being, better care for themselves and their families, and more confidently start the new school year.
Unified applauds each person who contributed time, creativity and resources to a Summer of Service project to help create healthier communities this summer. We thank you for your commitment.
