Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October 11, 2023 — Thanks to the strong participation of our Unified Community, the first-ever UnifiedCares Pink Week (October 2-6) raised $13,200 for Sisters Network, Inc.

A total of 1,335 participants submitted photos of their efforts to raise breast cancer awareness and show support for those impacted by the disease – individually or with their teams – for at least one day last week.

Unified appreciates every team and individual who supported this new initiative and spread the word across their workplaces and communities. We were delighted to see the creativity that our community brought to the week – from costumes to decorations and guest stars (kids, pets and others!).

Pink Week Top Performers:

  • The Unified corporate team with the highest total number of participants: The Compliance Team
  • The affiliated care center with the most participants: ObGyn Specialists of the Palm Beaches
  • Pink Week all stars (Individuals who wore pink all five days – or more – and submitted a photo each day): Laura Morse, Catharine Silva, Ashley Pollock and Beckie Johnson

Sisters Network, Inc. is a national non-profit organization that aims to improve Black women’s access to mammograms, quality breast cancer care and resources. Unified is proud to support this organization and help them fulfill their mission while directly addressing disparities in women’s health.
